Beyond fire and re-hire: building a sustainable workforce for the future

Discover how to redefine workforce transformation in this engaging discussion.

Every organizational decision is an act of change – whether you recognize it or not. For successful “always-on” transformation, businesses must think intentionally about how they deploy talent and develop skills to fuel growth and resilience.

The old model of ‘fire and re-hire’ is no longer viable – financially, culturally, or competitively. Critical talent will not wait for organizations that fail to invest in them, and the cost of turnover is higher than ever.

As automation and AI reshape the nature of work, skills are expiring faster than ever before. Roles are evolving, tasks are being redefined, and employees need the agility to learn and adapt as organizations do. In this environment, talent that can evolve alongside technology will be the differentiator between stagnation and success.

This debate challenges the audience to rethink how they attract, grow, and retain people in a world where skills expire quickly. Our panelists will share perspectives on why sustainable talent strategies, focused on development and succession, are key to long-term success.
